Sliced lamb in black bean sauce
Quick and very easy. Prepare as a special dinner for 2. The black bean sauce adds the real favour to this dish.
Ingredients
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) groundnut oil
- 400 g lamb cutlets sliced into strips
- 1 red pepper sliced
- 1 green pepper sliced
- 1/3 cup sliced spring onion
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 5 ml (1 tsp) finely sliced fresh ginger
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) black bean sauce
- 5 ml (1 tsp) red wine vinegar
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) soy sauce
- 2 cups cooked Spekko Royal Umbrella Jasmine Rice
Method
- Heat oil in wok and stir-fry lamb strips for 1-2 minutes then remove and set aside.
- Add the peppers and fry.
- Add the spring onions, garlic, and ginger and continue to fry.
- Finally mix in the black bean sauce, red wine vinegar, soy sauce and the lamb.
- Serve immediately on Spekko Royal Umbrella Jasmine Rice.
